Online check-in
Online check-in is one of the services offered by inReception to accommodation managers and owners. This service allows users to speed up guest recognition operations in the facility by anticipating the collection of data from guests. The system the use of a temporary link with the guest to enter the data of the guests expected before arrival. Only necessary information for recognition and mandatory communications will be collected. The manager or owner will be able to verify documents and identify guests visually on arrival at the accommodation facility if expressly required by national regulations. The guest will be able to automatically receive the door opening code at the end of online check-in if this functionality is supported by the accommodation facility.
Use of data
The personal data and information collected are used by the owners or managers of the accommodation facility exclusively for recognition and for mandatory communications required by law. For example, data can be used for notifying the police of guest presences, communicating tourist flows and accounting for the tourist tax. The information requested is processed according to the terms set out in the privacy policy and always limited to the minimum data necessary. Identity document information, including any photos requested during check-in, is automatically deleted from the system at the end of the guest's stay.
