This website collects some personal data from its users. The processing of users' personal data complies with the legislation on the protection of personal data in reference to the European Regulation EU/2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Regulation'). Particular attention is paid to the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency, limitation of data storage and minimization.

Data Owner

The Data Owner is the legal representative or the owner of the accommodation facility who initiates the online check-in procedure. The accommodation references are reported in the 'Contact us' section of this website.

Categories of personal data

The personal data processed are the so-called common data (name, surname, date of birth, address, tax code, etc), contact data (email address, telephone) and data relating to identity documents (type of document, document number, expiration date, etc). To operate this website, personal data is processed using the following services for the following purposes:

Purposes of the processing

The data collected will be used for the following purposes related to mandatory regulatory obligations:
  • Registration and communication to the police of the details of the people staying in the accommodation in compliance with the obligations regarding public safety;
  • Collection and communication of statistical data relating to tourist flows;
  • Tax and declaration obligations connected to the collection of the tourist tax.
Only relevant personal data will be collected, not exceeding the specific purposes of the processing. The data is kept in a form that allows the identification of guests for a period of time which should not exceed the time necessary for the achievement of the purposes, except in exceptional cases.
The provision of guests' personal data is mandatory for the above purposes and for all related auxiliary ones. Refusal to provide data will make it impossible to fulfill the regulatory obligations regarding security, statistics and taxation. Express consent to the processing of such personal data by the user is not necessary as it is founded on precise legal bases.

Treatment methods

The processing will be carried out exclusively with IT tools and subjected to logic aimed at guaranteeing the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data. The data collected will be processed exclusively for the above purposes, by the owner of the accommodation facility and by users expressly authorized (employees, collaborators, etc), specifically authorized and trained.

Communication and dissemination of data

The data collected will not be communicated to third parties or disclosed to subjects who are not responsible for fulfilling the regulatory obligations indicated above.

Data retention period

The data collected will be stored in electronic form in compliance with the data and document retention times required by the relevant legislation. After this deadline the data will be deleted. In particular, data relating to identity documents will be automatically deleted at the end of the stay. The data owner reserves the right to retain general contact data (name, surname, address, email, telephone) for accounting purposes and future communications relating to the stay.

Rights of the interested party

The interested party may exercise the rights provided for by the Regulation at any time towards the data controller. Furthermore, the interested party has the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority at any time.
